Silver is mined in other parts of Indonesia and brought to Bali, where
the smiths design handmade jewelry and other decorative items.
Each bead is cast in two parts and joined together after they are individually decorated. Delicate balls and wires are created and glued to the bead. Once all the decorations have been put on, they are soldered to the bead.
